St. Johnsville: Gary A. Patruska, 63, of East Main Street, St. Johnsville, passed away at home, on Wednesday, January 25, 2012. Gary was born in Little Falls on November 7, 1948, a son of the late Anthony A. and Gladys F. (Polinski) Patruska. He was raised and educated in St. Johnsville, and went on to become a member of the United States Marine Corps. Gary held various employments and last worked as a knitter for Helmont Mills in St. Johnsville. He is survived by two brothers, Thomas of Camden and Mark of Utica, and a sister, Barbara Patruska of St. Johnsville. Gary was predeceased by his parents, Anthony and Gladys Patruska, and brothers, Donald and John. A memorial service, conducted by Pastor David Johnson, will take place on Friday, February 3, 2012 at 10 am in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 32 West Main Street, St. Johnsville. There are no calling hours. Please join us following the service at the H.C. Smith Benefit Club, 538 Crum Creek Road, St. Johnsville.
