LITTLE FALLS-Theresa J. McGinnis, age 81, of 27 Top Notch Drive, Little Falls reached the end of her earthly journey and entered into eternal rest peacefully on Saturday morning, February 13, 2010 in Little Falls Hospital. Theresa was born in Cambridge, NY on August 27, 1928. She was a graduate of St. Mary’s Academy and attended the College of Saint Rose in Albany and the Utica School of Commerce. At one time she owned and operated “The Boutique” gift shop in Little Falls and later became the Editor of daily and monthly publications at Radio Receiver Department of General Electric, Utica. She was last employed as Senior Account Clerk for the City of Little Falls, retiring in 2001 after 33 years of service. On June 12, 1948, she was united in marriage with John C. McGinnis at St. Mary’s Church, Little Falls, a loving union of 61 years until the passing of Mr. McGinnis on August 23, 2009. Theresa is survived by two daughters: Jacqueline McGinnis of Rensselaer and Peggy Romano and husband Peter of Little Falls. Visitation at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe St., Little Falls will be on Wednesday, February 17, 2010 from 5-8 p.m. Theresa’s funeral will commence at 10:15 am on Thursday, Feb. 18th, 2010 from the chapel of the funeral home where prayer will be offered and then proceed to Holy Family Parish, Little Falls where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Thomas Lawless, pastor. She will then be laid to rest in the mausoleum at Calvary Cemetery, Utica.
