Obituary of Bernadette White

HERKIMER-Bernadette R. (Pliszek) White, 61 of 406 South Washington Street, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home on Christmas morning, December 25, 2009. At the time of her passing she had the love and support of her family by her side. She was born on May 13, 1948 in Herkimer, daughter of Regina (Alexander)Pliszek and the late Raymond Pliszek of Herkimer. Bernadette graduated from Herkimer High School. She attended Becker College in Massachusetts for two years and resided in New Mexico for over 20 years until moving to Herkimer in November of 2003. She was last employed in the labratory at Little Falls Hospital and was a communicant of Sts. Anthony and Joseph Church, Herkimer. Survivors include her mother: Regina of Herkimer; she was formerly married and leaves a son: Jeremy R. White with United States Marine Corp. stationed in South Carolina; three aunts: Helen Undo of Ilion, Jean Czarnecki of Herkimer, and Stella Glogowski of E. Herkimer; a special uncle: Ted Alexandrowicz and wife Mildred of Mohawk; her very best friend: Maureen Mulligan of Florida; many cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Pliszek. In respecting Bernadette’s wishes, there are no public calling hours. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to a memorial mass, commencing at 10 am on Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at Sts. Anthony and Joseph Church, S. Main St., Herkimer. Burial will take place later in the spring in Calvary Cemetery, Herkimer. Kindly consider memorial offerings to Sts. Anthony and Joseph Church, Herkimer.
