ST. JOHNSVILE- Mr. Ralph E. George, 84, of State Hwy 5, entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 22, 2010 at his home with his loving family at his side. He was born on October 10, 1925 in Little Falls, son of the late Ralph and Mary (Wancho) George. On June 4, 1948 he was united in marriage with Lila T. Tastle. Their loving union lasted 61 years until her passing in 2009. Ralph was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. His family was his foremost priority in his life. He cherished his time with his family. He loved and was very proud to be an electrician. Survivors include his 4 daughters: Cynthia Nagele and her husband Karl of St. Johnsville, Reggie Manikas and her husband Tony of St. Johnsville, Diane Ousley and her husband Chris of TN, Stacy Bubb of Little Falls; his grandchildren Tiffany Sen, Taiya Armer, Kyle, Aaron and Ryan Manikas, Joshua Bubb, Ciara Bubb and Jordan Cool; his 6 great grandchildren, his sister Millie Power of GA and many nieces, nephews and cousins.He was predeceased by his brothers Phil, John and Anthony and his sister Ann Collins. The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 from 4-7pm at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 9 Center St. Saint Johnsville. A religious service will be held at the conclusion of calling hours at 7pm with the Rev. David Johnson officiating. Mr . Georges’s burial will take place in the spring of 2010 at St. Johnsville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family request donations in Ralph’s name be made to the St. Johnsville American Legion Post 168. Envelopes may be obtained at the funeral home.
