Obituary of Katherine Hall

HERKIMER-Mrs. Katherine A. (Bradley) Hall, 100 years of age, formerly of Lansing St., entered into eternal rest on Monday evening, October 19, 2009 peacefully in Valley Health Services, Herkimer. She was born on March 22, 1909 in Little Falls, the daughter of the late Floyd and Carrie (Schafer) Bradley and educated in Little Falls schools. On May 14, 1926, she was joined in marriage with Willard Hall in the Baptist Parsonage, Herkimer; a union of 41 years until his passing on May 1, 1973. She was last employed as a seamstress with the former Derby Sportswear, Herkimer and was formerly employed by Donlon Glove Factory, Herkimer. Mrs. Hall was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. In her spare time she enjoyed playing bingo and pinochle. In fact, she was a member of the former pinochle club at the Herkimer Knights of Columbus. She leaves two beloved daughters and sons in law: Marilyn (Campagna) Riggs and husband Arnold of Mohawk and Bonnie and Terry O’Bryan of Ilion; seven grandchildren: Bruce Campagna and Maureen Scerra, Susan Hallock and John Campagna, Erik O'Bryan, Erin O'Bryan and Jennifer O'Bryan; thirteen adored great grandchildren and one adored great great grandchild; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four sisters and spouses: Emily Clark, Ethel Kennedy, Marion Reardon and Ada Grubner and by three brothers and spouses: George, Floyd and William Bradley; by her son in law, Silvio Campagna and by her infant granddaughter: Sharie Lyn Campagna. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to a memorial service commencing at 1 pm on Saturday, November 28, 2009 at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 4309 Acme Road, between Ilion and Frankfort, 894-8000 with the Rev. Brian Engel, pastor of Mohawk Reformed Church, officiating. Memorial visitation will be held from 12 pm-1pm, prior to the service at the funeral home. Procession will follow to Oak Hill Cemetery, Herkimer where inurnment will take place. Kindly consider memorial offerings to Valley Health Services, Herkimer or to the Mohawk Homestead; envelopes may be obtained at the funeral parlor.
