Her passing occurred at the Hospice of Dayton facility in Dayton, Ohio with the love and support of her entire family at her side. Born on April 24, 1944 in Herkimer, NY, Pat was the daughter of Stanley and Mary (Vesp) Biasini. Raised and educated in Mohawk, NY, she was a 1962 graduate of Mohawk High School. On October 10, 1964, Pat married James Keddell with whom she shared 45 memorable years. Pat was a long-time resident of Mohawk, NY and spent most of her career with the Mohawk School District as an aide at the high school and secretary to the principal at Fisher Elementary. For the past three years, she even used her talents as part of the Prayer Shawl Ministry at St. Albert the Great Parish in Kettering, OH. She was also blessed with many wonderful friends who enriched her life, and it would be Pat’s wish that you appreciate your closeness to her and remember a special moment shared with her. She engaged in the battle of her life the past five and a half years, especially the past year, with strength and courage. The family is grateful to Dr. James Sabiers, the staff of Dayton Physicians - Hematology & Oncology, and all the wonderful caregivers that were part of her medical team inspiring Pat to endure. They also would like to extend a genuine thank-you to the personnel of Hospice of Dayton, who helped Pat and her family, by providing peace, comfort and professionalism during a difficult time. Pat is survived by her husband, Jim; her six children, Colleen and Gil DeStefano of Chadwicks, NY, Teresa and Randy Frank of Centerville, OH, Kathie and Scott Welch of Kettering, OH, Andrea and Joe Heintz of Port Charlotte, FL, James Keddell, Jr. and Christine Begandy of Macedon, NY, and Brenda Ferguson of Marengo, OH and 16 grandchildren, Nicole, Jacob, Joseph, Hannah, Vincent, Dominic and Thomas DeStefano, Cory, Kevin, Justin, and Jared Frank, Nathaniel, Christina, and Nicholas Welch, Zachary Keddell, and Marlese Ferguson.
