Utica: Mrs. Shirley A. Moschetto, age 78, of 255 Blossom Lane, Utica, passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2010 at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, Utica. Born in Little Falls, NY on June 15, 1931, Shirley was the daughter of the late Alfred and Frances (Moe) Lawrence and was educated in Little Falls Schools. She was united in marriage on August 19, 1950 to Dominick Moschetto at St. Mary’s Church, Little Falls. As a couple , they shared the traditional values of life , loved each other unconditionally and spent 23 years living in Florida. The couple had spent the greater part of their lives in Ilion on Kent Blvd. At one time, Shirley worked as a sales person for Durkin Real Estate, Ilion and she was of the Catholic faith. Shirley is survived by her loving husband, Dominick; her son, Richard and wife Ann of Ilion; her daughter, Deborah Schoonmaker of Nantucket; her sisters, Virginia Koski of New Hartford and Carol Jones of North Utica; three cherished grandchildren, Richard Moschetto, Krista and Jason Schoonmaker; her loving feline friend Trinket; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws. She was predeceased by five brothers. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Tuesday, February 9, 2010 from 5:00PM-7:00PM at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 4309 Acme Road, between Ilion-Frankfort. Funeral Services will immediately follow calling hours at 7:00 PM, with Deacon Jim Bower officiating. Burial will take place in the Spring at Rural Park Cemetery , Ingham Mills, NY.
