Obituary of Eileen Trickler

STRATFORD-Eileen W. (Sheppard) Trickler, 81, formerly of Stratford, most recently a resident of Mohawk Valley Healthcare Center, passed away on Sunday morning, October 4, 2009 at the nursing home. She was born on July 31, 1928 in Syracuse, daughter of the late William and Minnie (Laura) Sheppard and educated in Syracuse schools. She was raised in Stratford. Her last professional employment was with the Holiday Inn Motel in Gloversville. She was formerly employed by the Daniel Green Factory and Coleco of Gloversville. She attended Jehovah Witness Ministry in Johnstown. Eileen always put the needs of her family before her own. She enjoyed the times she spent with her feline companions. She is survived by her children: Judy Herringshaw of Gloversville; David J. Watson of Ilion; Keith Trickler and wife Fawn of Gloversville; Philip Wilson and wife Roberta of Troutman, North Carolina; and James Watson, Jr., of Utah; a sister: Carol Mazur of Ambridge, Pa.; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her sisters: Doris Burdick and Norma Young. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to a graveside service commencing at 11 am on Friday, October 9, 2009 at Stratford Cemetery. There are no calling hours. The family is being cared for by the Enea Family Funeral Home. A special thank you is extended to the staff of the Mohawk Valley Healthcare Center, Ilion for their kindness and compassion.
