Obituary of William Wright

FRANKFORT- Mr. William A. “Bill” Wright, 51 of Brockway Road, Town of Frankfort, entered into eternal rest on Thursday morning, October 15, 2009 with the love and support of his family and friends by his side. His passing occurred in the Siegenthaler Center of New Hartford, following an 18 month courageous battle with a Glioblastoma Multiforme, brain tumor. He was born on February 3, 1958 in Schenectady, son of Eugene and Jane (Richardson) Wright. Bill graduated from Union College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering in 1980. Bill was united in marriage with Patricia “Patty” Kaczor in Schenectady on October 10, 1981; enjoying a blessed and devoted union of 28 years. He was employed as an electrical engineer with Riverhawk Corporation, New Hartford. Bill truly loved the outdoors, especially hiking and skiing. One of his favorite things to do was photography. He was a caring and giving person and loved volunteering at the annual Boilermaker Road Race in Utica, NY. Survivors include his loving family; his beloved wife, Patty, his two cherished daughters: Allison J. Wright and Sarah H. Wright, his parents, Eugene and Jane Wright of Schenectady, three sisters: Diane Kremer of Cassopolis, Michigan, Susan Wright of Albany, NY and Barbara Wright of Santa Cruz, California, brother: John Wright and wife Cheryl of Pattersonville, NY. His wife's family: Sister-in-law Bernice Terry and her husband William of Amsterdam, NY, Brother-in-law: Edward Kaczor and wife Theresa of Rotterdam Junction, NY, Sister-in-law; Debra Kaczor of California, and Sister-in-law Helen Kaczor and husband Ken Schwartz of Clifton Park, NY; along with many nieces, nephews. Relatives and friends may pay their respects from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m on Saturday, October 17, 2009 at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 4309 Acme Road, between Ilion and Frankfort. A Memorial Service celebrating Bill's life will be conducted immediately following calling hours (5 p.m.) at the Enea Family Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers please consider a memorial offering to The Siegenthaler Center, 4277 Middle Settlement Rd, New Hartford, NY 13413 or to Dr. Fred Hockberg, Yawkey Building 9010, Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston Massachusetts 02114.
