Mrs. Sally J. Delucco 76 of 17 Schuyler Street Dolgeville, died unexpectedly Friday December 4th, 2009 in Little Falls Hospital after suffering an apparent heart attack at home. She was born in Utica, on November 16, 1933 the daughter of Pasquale G. and Antonetta (Aiello) Pugliese and was a graduate of Dolgeville High School class of 1951. Her marriage to Dominick A. DeLucco took place on September 5, 1960 in St. Joseph’s Church Dolgeville. Mr. DeLucco predeceased her on August 28, 2003. Sally was employed by the former Oneida National Bank on Main Street Dolgeville, and also the Henderson Insurance Agency of Dolgeville. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Church, the Dolgeville – Manheim Historical Society, a former member of the Dolgeville Bowling Leagues and she personally enjoyed photography. Her greatest enjoyment was with her daughters and their husbands and her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters and their husbands Maria C. and Alan Miracle of Waterloo, N.Y., Angela M. DeLucco and her husband Martin Cawsey of Boston, MA. Her Brothers John R. Pugliese of Batavia, and Patsy Pugliese of Webster, NY, her adored granddaughters Sophia Ann, & Emily Maria Miracle, Nieces & Nephews. She was predeceased by a Brother Vincent Pugliese in 1980. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Church Dolgeville, on Monday December 7, 2009 at 9 AM with Rev. William A. Gorman, Pastor as the celebrant. Burial was in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
