Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Peters 92 a resident of the Folts Home in Herkimer, since April 2008, and who resided with her son and daughter in law Robert and Patricia Peters at 208 Red School House Road Salisbury Center, died Saturday December 26, 2009 at the Folts Home. She was born on September 12, 1917 in Brooklyn, New York the daughter of Michael and Anna (Gagg) Peters and attended schools there where she was a high school graduate. Her marriage to Charles Peters took place on March 27, 1937 in Brooklyn, New York. Mr. Peters predeceased her on June 16, 1998. She is survived by her son and his wife Robert and Patricia Peters of Salisbury Center, a daughter and her husband Adele and John Steinheimer of Pensacola, FL. , a Sister Patricia Giardinello of Glens Falls, N.Y., her Grandchildren June and her husband Arthur Mayrose, Jean Boniberger, John Steinheimer III, Anthony and his wife Christine Steinheimer, Kathleen and her husband Matthew Shannon and Michele Paniagua & her companion Michael Looman, 10 Great Grandchildren, Nieces & nephews. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday January 2, 2010 at 9 AM at St. Joseph’s Church on Helmer Avenue Dolgeville. Rev. William A. Gorman, pastor will be the celebrant.
