LITTLE FALLS- Mr. George H. Atkinson, 64, of Jerseyfield Rd. entered into eternal rest on March 26, 2009 at Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown. He was born on June 7, 1944 in Little Falls, son of the late Charles and Ruth (Edick) Atkinson. On August 15, 1998 he was joined in marriage with Delores Wadsworth in Salisbury. George's first and foremost prioriry in life were his children. They were of the utmost importance to him. George worked at North Hudson for 45 years and was a dedicated employee. Survivors include his beloved family; his wife Delores, his son George J. Atkinson of Little Falls; his daughters Debra Bilger and her husband Shawn of Stratford, Kathy Harrinshaw and her husband Pat of Dolgeville, Crystal Atkinson of Salisbury; his stepsons Jason Filippi and his wife Rebecca of Little Falls and Clinton Bates and his wife Janet of Canajoharie; his step daughters Jessica Gallt and her husband Jason of Little Falls and their children Brandon, Jason Jr. and Collon, Angela Bilger and her husband Scott of Stratford and Brenda Leon of Little Falls; his grandchildren Tara, Shawnman, Shawna, Zachary, Billi, October, Melissa, Kristen and Gabriel, Anthony, Danny, Brady, Cassandra and Nicole; his great grandchildren Payton and Jayson; his brothers John, Charles Jr, and Oliver Atkinson; his sisters Beatrice, Charlotte, Irene and Elizabeth; his special sister in law Bonnie Sweet, mother in law Mabel Wadsworth and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He is predeceased by his two brothers Bruce and Harold. Burial of cremains will take place at Curtis Corners Cemetery on Saturday April 11, 2009 at 10am The arrangements were entrusted to Harry J. Enea Jr.
