Obituary of Patricia L Bier

Tupper Lake: Patricia L. Bier, 69, of Tupper Lake (Franklin County), passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2009 in the Masonic Care Community, Utica. Patricia was born in Little Falls on February 7, 1940, a daughter of the late Kenneth C. and Jane (Gaworecki) Waldvogel. She was a graduate of Little Falls Schools and Mohawk Valley Community College. She was married to Martin M. Bier on October 22, 1960 in Sacred Heart Church, Little Falls. She and her husband moved to Port Ewen, NY in 1962 and resided there until 1992, when they relocated to Tupper Lake. She was a member of St. Alphonsus Church in Tupper Lake, and its Prayer Group. Patricia is survived by her beloved husband, Martin; a son, James M. Bier of Sackets Harbor, NY; a sister, Jean Megan of Little Falls; two nieces: Suzanne Landkasner and family, and Laura Posch and family; and several cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe Street, Little Falls (315-823-2424) on Monday, July 27, 2009 from 6-8 pm. Patricia’s funeral will commence on Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at 11:30 am with prayer at the funeral home. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Reverend Anthony Ligato at 12:10 pm in Holy Family Parish Church, Little Falls. Procession will follow to St. Mary’s Cemetery, town of Herkimer, where she will be laid to rest.
