Obituary of Allan Brin

Allan F. Brin passed away on Jan. 23, 2009 in Ilion. He was born in Little Falls on July 15, 1955 to Joseph and Helen Brin. Allan graduated from Morrisville College with a degree in musical instrument repair, after which he was employed by Samco Music in Dolgeville. He was an avid golfer. Being a great outdoorsman he loved to fish and hunt. Allan was a fantastic keyboard player, traveling nationwide playing in bands. On Sept. 24, 1995 he married his wife Susan Morton-Brin in Stratford, NY. Besides his wife he is survived by sons Brian Morton of Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio, and John Stemmer of Boston, MA. Allan is also survived by his brother Joseph Brin and wife Nancy of Baldwinsville, NY; His mother -in-laws Ceil Morton and predeceased by her husband Raymond; Sister and brother in laws Sandra and Randy Walls of Kansas, Stephen and Sarah Morton of Frankfort, Sharon Morton of Rome, and Stacey and Francis Katatto of Coldbrook. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews especially mentioning Evie and Gene Langenbach, Elizabeth and Peter Bianchi of Chicago and Susan Pawlowich of Little Falls. Allan’s funeral services are private. Memorial donations are requested to be made in his name to Herkimer County Humane Society, ,P.O. Box 73, Mohawk, N.Y. 13407.
