Obituary of Mary K Hart

Little Falls: Mary K. Hart, 100, a lifelong Little Falls resident, most recently of the Mohawk Homestead on East Main Street, Mohawk, passed away in Little Falls Hospital on Friday, July 3, 2009. Mrs. Hart was born on March 23, 1909 in Little Falls, a daughter of the late Charles and Anna (Leszczenska) Krasko. Mary received her education in Little Falls rural schools. She married Joseph Hart on August 15, 1934 in Sacred Heart Church, Little Falls. Joseph passed away on November 30, 1977. She devoted her life to her family and her home. Mary was a member of the Holy Family Parish and its Rosary Society. Mary is survived by her loving family, her sons: John J. Hart and his wife Dolores of Little Falls, and Charles F. Hart and his wife Priscilla of Southington, CT; brothers: Joseph Krasko and his wife Diane of Sumpter, SC, and Raymond Krasko and his wife Delores of Yuma, AZ; sisters: Jennie Tabor of Fort Plain, Frances Cook and her husband John of Mays Landing, NJ, Stella Qualm of Colorado, and Betty Colony and her husband Fred of Little Falls; and her sister-in-law, Irene Krasko. She also leaves her grandchildren: Brian Hart of Syracuse, Bonnie Congdon and husband Les of Little Falls, Bernie Hart and wife Kathy of Louisville, CO, Lynn Jankowski and husband Keith of AZ, Kathy Keen and husband Chris of CT, Kelly Hart of CT, and Sue Castellano and husband Vinny, also of CT; sixteen great-grandchildren and their families, two great-great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and in-laws. She was predeceased by her brothers: Fred, Charles and Albert Krasko, and sisters: Sophia Krasko, Edna Keller, Mildred Kimball and Anna Whitaker. She was also predeceased by four siblings at birth. Relatives are friends are invited to pay their respects at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe Street, Little Falls on Tuesday, July 7 from 5-7 pm. Mary’s funeral will begin with prayer at the funeral home at 10:15 am on Wednesday, July 8, followed by Mass of Christian Burial celebrated by the Reverend Anthony Ligato at 11:00 am in Holy Family Parish Church. Procession will follow to Mountain View Memorial Gardens Cemetery in the town of Little Falls, where she will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband. The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. U. Widhera for her excellent care during Mary’s illness. Also, a special thank you is extended to the staff of the Mohawk Homestead for their warm care and attentiveness during Mary’s stay.
