Obituary of Angeline Kopec

FRANKFORT-Mrs. Angeline C. (Librera) Kopec, 85, of South Litchfield St., a longtime Frankfort resident passed away on Monday, March 9, 2009 suddenly in her home. She was born on July 27, 1923 in Frankfort, daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine (Albansi) Librera and educated in Frankfort schools. On December 28, 1983, she was united in marriage with her loving husband of 25 years, Stanley Kopec. She was last employed as an inspector with MDS and was employed with UNIVAC for 21 years. Mrs. Kopec attended Annunciation Church, Ilion. Survivors include her beloved husband Stanley of Frankfort; a sister: Rose Mary Librera; many nieces and nephews including Joseph Cerini and Michael Cerini, Mary Jo Cerini and Anthony Cerini; several cousins and inlaws. She was predeceased by three brothers: Victor Librera, Samuel Librera and Baby John Librera; and by two sisters: Josephine Librera and Theresa Cerini. There are no public calling hours. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a prayer service at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 4309 Acme Rd., between Frankfort and Ilion, 894-8000 on Thursday, March 12, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. with Deacon Jim Bower, officiating. She will be laid to rest in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Frankfort later in the spring. Mrs. Kopec was a devoted caregiver to her husand Stanley always putting the needs of her husband before her own and extending much effort to always keep him comfortable. She will be sadly missed by her family. Harry Enea, Jr., is honored to serve the Kopec family.
