Ilion: Diane L. Kunz, age 53, a resident of Denicola’s Easy Living, Ilion, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 15, 2009 at Little Falls Hospital. Diane was born on May 2, 1956 in Utica, a daughter of Douglas and Eleanor (Nowak) Kunz. She was a graduate of Whitesboro Senior High School, and attended B.O.C.E.S. in the data entry machine operator program. She has resided in Ilion since July of 2005. Diane was last employed as a data entry machine operator for the Oneida County Department of Social Services. She was a communicant of Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church in Frankfort. Diane leaves behind her parents: her loving mother Eleanor of New Hartford, her father, Douglas of Whitesboro, several aunts, uncles, and cousins, and her extended family at Denicola’s Easy Living, Ilion. A private funeral service will be held at the Enea Family Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service at Holy Trinity Cemetery in Yorkville, with Deacon James Bower presiding. A sincere thank you is extended to the Ilion Fire and Police Departments and Little Falls Hospital for their attentiveness above and beyond the call of duty.
