EAST HERKIMER-Mrs. Frances Mary (Molinaro) Osredkar, 93 of Folts Road, East Herkimer, entered into eternal rest peacefully on Friday morning, September 4, 2009 in Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare, New Hartford. She was born on November 26, 1915 in Herkimer, daughter of the late Guiseppe and Martha (Sinabard) Molinaro and graduated with Herkimer High School, Class of 1935. On August 11, 1953, in St. Anthony’s Church, Herkimer, she was joined in marriage with John Edward Osredkar with whom she recently celebrated 56 years of marriage. She was last employed as a library aide with Mohawk Central School and was at one time employed with Remington Arms as an office clerk for 16 years. She was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church, Mohawk. Frances was a loving wife and devoted mother who took wonderful care of her family. She enjoyed keeping active and loved to play tennis. She also had a green thumb and spent many hours gardening. Frances was a tremendous cook and talented baker. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Survivors include her beloved family; her husband John of East Herkimer; a son: Edward Osredkar also of E. Herkimer; a sister: Josephine Terico of E. Herkimer; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her siblings: Louis, Peter, Caroline, Rose and Antoinette. In keeping with Frances’ wishes there are no public calling hours. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial, commencing at 11 am on Tuesday, September 8, 2009 from Blessed Sacrament Church, E. Main Street, Mohawk celebrated by the Rev. Mark Cunningham, sacramental minister assisted by Sister Mary Jo Tallman, Parish Life Director. Procession will follow to St. Mary's Cemetery, town of Herkimer where she will be laid to rest.
