I know that I am so very late in acknowledging Michael's passing, but I just found this site. I knew Mike very well because we were both freshmen at ND in 1982 and we both lived in the same section of Fisher Hall. I am just speechless. I will miss Mike and his stories of growing up in upstate New York. I also remember Mike driving from ND to McMinnville, TN during some of our breaks. Mike was a good person with a good heart, and I will always have fond memories of him.

Dear Wendy, Brittany and Matthew...You know how long we have been friends and this shocking news is nearly unbearable for all of us especially Samantha. She loved the time she spent riding the bus with Britt and Adam and playing the flute alongside Britt in band. They were wonderful friends and she thought of you Wendy, and Mike as extended family. She even has pictures of your pets and of course the dearly cherished pictures of their talent show appearances and their first day of kindergarden getting on the bus from the end of your driveway and scampering away with their nap mats and beautiful clothes! Wonderful memories she shared with your family at your camp and I feel blessed that you all were very good to Samantha. My deepest sympathy to the family in the loss of Michael. I was a classmate at WCSH and my husband Robert and I both were in Michael's mom's English class (Robert was class of 81, I was 82). Michael was a great guy in high school and had to be from there on out. It was a pleasure to get to see him on facebook for this brief period of time. Michael Rest In Peace.

In organizing our 25th Reunion of the Warren Co. Class of 82 in 2007, we realized we had no contact info for Michael. In March of 2009 I saw him on Facebook and was very glad get in touch with him as well as see him connect with other classmates who were also wondering about him.
