Anna H. Barca, 98, a long time St. Johnsville resident, passed away on Wednesday April 16, 2008 at the St. Johnsville Nursing Home. She was born March 30, 1910, in New York City the daughter of the late Andrew & Giacomina (Baudone) Barca and was educated in St. Johnsville schools. Until her retirement in 1972, Anna worked with her parents at the family owned Barca Bakery in St. Johnsville. Miss Barca was a member of St. Patrick?s Church in St. Johnsville and it?s Alter Rosary Society. She was also a member of the St. Johnsville Senior Saints. Survivors include her sister; Lena Terricola and husband CJ of St. Johnsville, nieces & nephews; Andrea Green and husband Paul of Indian Castle, Peter Barca and wife Carol of Canajoharie, Constance Ann Terricola of San Ramone, California, and Terrance Terricola of West Palm Beach, Florida, grand nieces & nephews; Danielle and Troy Barca, Paulina Green, Joseph and Andreanna Barca, and Derek and Aria Terricola and many cousins. She was pre-deceased by a sister, Lucy Barca and three brothers, Peter, Louis and Joseph Barca and a nephew, Andre Barca ? Apoka of Florida. Funeral services will be held on Monday April 21, 2008 at 9:30 am from the Enea Family Funeral Home, 9 Center St., St. Johnsville and at 10:00 am from St. Patrick?s Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held. Burial will be at St. Johnsville Cemetery. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home on Sunday April 20, 2008 from 3-5 pm. All memorial contributions may be made to St. Patrick?s Memorial Fund or S.A.V.A.C. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. The family would like to express a sincere thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff of the St. Johnsville Nursing Home for the excellent care shown to Anna during her stay at the home.
