HERKIMER-Mr. James W. "Jim" Brice, 73, of Moore Avenue, Herkimer passed away on Friday, July 11, 2008 in Little Falls Hospital. He was born in Bronx, NY on July 22, 1934, son of the late James P. and Rosalie (Nemith) Brice and attended Manhattan schools. He married Brenda Huston in Yonkers on August 3, 1960, a devoted union of 47 years.He proudly served his country with the U.S. Army enlisting in 1951 and was honorably discharged in 1954. Jim was last employed as building superintendant of the Stewart Heights Housing Corp. in Mt. Kisco, NY. He was a member of the Village of Herkimer Senior Citizens and the Herkimer VFW Michael S. Pliseck Post #4915. He will be missed by his beloved family; his wife Brenda at home; a son: Kenyon J. Brice and wife Karen of Mt. Kisco; a daughter: Ginger M. Smith and husband Lee of Hayward, California; two grandchildren: Arend M. Smith and Fox M. Smith. In keeping with Mr. Brice's wishes cremation will take place and there are no calling hours or funeral service. A graveside memorial service will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery, Herkimer in August at a time to be announced. The Enea Family Funeral Home is assisting the Brice family with cremation arrangements.
