Joshua Scott Carter 23 of 129 Taft Avenue Frankfort, died unexpectedly on Sunday September 7th, 2008 at Little Falls Hospital. Josh was born in Little Falls on November 9, 1984 the son of Donald and Carmen (Burke) Carter and attended schools in Ilion and Dolgeville. He was employed as a licensed Asbestos technician for the Two Brothers Asbestos Company of Whitesboro, New York. Josh’s love of the outdoors was evident by his interests in fishing, hunting and all outdoor activities. He was an avid football fan, especially for the Buffalo Bills. He is survived by a son Hayden Isaac Carter and his fiancée Amanda Leuenberger with whom he lived, His parents Donald Carter of Salisbury Center, his Mother Carmen (Burke) Carter of Frankfort, a Sister Tara Carter of Mohawk, two Brothers Jacob and Zackary Rasmussen both of Ilion, two stepsons Jacob and Brenden Taylor, his paternal grandmother Debbie Spofford of Salisbury Center, his paternal great grandmother Lillian Carter of Dolgeville, his maternal Grandmother Carol Burke of Middletown, NY, his Maternal Great Grandmother Frieda Burke of Salisbury Center, a very special niece Miah Stuttes,his aunts Michele and Joseph Putney of Newport, Colleen and Chad Riesel of Herkimer and his uncle Scott and Chrissy Carter of Mohawk,and several cousins. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather Robert Burke. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday September 13th, 2008 from 10AM until Noon at the Roberts & Enea Family Funeral Home 3 Faville Avenue Dolgeville.
