FRANKFORT-Mr. Dominick Fazzolari, 81 of Country Meadow Drive, (town of Schuyler) entered into eternal rest on Friday morning, December 26, 2008 in St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center, Utica. He was born on September 16, 1927 in Brooklyn, son of the late James and Rose Fazzolari and educated in Brooklyn Schools. He was last employed with New York City Transit Authority as a car maintainer. Dominick was united in marriage to Christina Gambardella with whom he shared a loving and devoted union of 52 years with. Dom was of the Catholic faith. A thoughtful and honorable man, Dominick was a wonderful companion, an outstanding father and inspiring role model. His relationships with his family were filled with the life of his friendly, and fun-loving nature. He enjoyed the company of others and liked to engage in conversation. As a man who loved his children, he established close and loving bonds with his grandchildren. Mr. Fazzolari is survived by his beloved family; his wife, Christina of Schuyler; a son: James Fazzolari and wife Christina also of Schuyler; a daughter: Rosselle Salzano and husband Michael of Brooklyn; four cherished grandchildren: Kristy, Michael, Christopher and Jenna. He is predeceased by his sister: Mary Giordiano. Relatives and friends may pay their respects at the Enea Family Funeral Home of Frankfort, 4309 Acme Road, (894-8000) on Sunday, December 28, 2008 from 3-5 p.m and also invited to his funeral service commencing at 5 p.m. at the funeral home on Sunday with Deacon Jim Bower officiating. Interment will take place at the convenience of the family. Kindly consider memorial offerings to the American Cancer Society, envelopes are available at the funeral parlor. Mr. Fazzolari was a caring and loving individual who made friends easily. The family is deeply grateful to these caring friends, especially to those in the village of Frankfort who always went out of their way to say hello and converse with Dom. He will be sadly missed.
