Herkimer: Dominick J. Fiorentino, 67, of North Main Street, Herkimer, passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2008 in Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare, New Hartford. Dominick was born on July 27, 1941 in Herkimer, a son of the late Dominick and Angelina (Costantino) Fiorentino. He was educated in Herkimer schools and has been a lifelong resident of Herkimer. Mr. Fiorentino was last employed at Remington Arms in Ilion as a tool and model maker. He was an avid musician and was associated with many drum corps in Central New York for a number of years. Dominick is survived by his daughter: Maria Fiorentino of Anaheim, California; two brothers: Carlo and Lena Fiorentino and Joseph Fiorentino of Little Falls; two sisters: Rose Bernier and Clara Marie Fiorentino, both of Herkimer; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a daughter: Heather Lynn Fiorentino; and a brother, Frank Fiorentino. In keeping with Dominick’s wishes, cremation has taken place. There are no calling hours.
