MOHAWK-Mr. Robert W. Garlock, Sr., 75 of 472 Pine Bush Rd., passed away on Wednesday morning, July 16, 2008 in Bassett Healthcare, Cooperstown. At the time of his passing, he had the support of his loving family at his side. He was born in Mohawk on November 2, 1932, son of the late George and Lottie (Brown) Garlock and attended Mohawk schools. He resided in Fairfield at one time and was last employed with North Hudson Woodcraft of Dolgeville, retiring in 1992. Mr. Garlock is survived by one son: Robert W. Garlock, Jr., of Mohawk; four daughters: Roberta Hall and companion Dale Battisti of Lasselsville, Barbara and John Guyer, Jr. of Mohawk, Carol Garlock and companion Ed of Vero Beach, Fl., and Crystal and Terry Hurteau of Mohawk; two sisters: Pearl Miller of Mohawk and Ruby Willoughby of Middleville, a sister in law: June Garlock of Middleville; 16 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a special companion, Norma J. Heinig; a brother: John Garlock; and by a sister: Marion Huckabone. Visitation at the new Enea Family Funeral Home, 4309 Acme Rd., between Ilion and Frankfort (894-8000) will be on Thursday, July 17, 2008 from 7-9 p.m. Mr. Garlock's funeral will commence at 11 am on Friday, July 18, 2008 at 11 am from the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral procession will follow to Mohawk Cemetery II (Vickerman Hill) where he will be laid to rest.
