ST. JOHNSVILLE- Mrs. Clara M. Johnson, 86, of Hough St. entered into eternal rest December 31, 2008 at Bassett Health Care Cooperstown. She was born on June 26, 1922 in St. Johnsville, daughter of the late Antonio and Maria ( Montoni) Palitti. On May 30, 1950 she was joined in marriage with Gerald M. Johnson at St. Patrick's R.C. Church in St. Johnsville. She was a lifetime resident of St. Johnsville. She was employed by Beech Nut in Canajoharie makinging Life Savers and other assorted Beech Nut products. Survivors include her daughter Pamela Johnson of Albany and her Grandson Anthony Johnson of Albany and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She is predeceased by her husband Gerald and her sister Helen Lena Palitti. There are no calling calling hours but burial of her cremains will take place at St. Johnsville Cemetery in the spring of 2009.
