Obituary of Anna Klemme

FORT PLAIN- Anna L. Klemme, 81, of River Road passed away on Monday afternoon, September 1, 2008 at Little Falls Hospital. She was born August 27,1927 in Ephratah to John & Anna (Svitek) Hajczewski. On August 2, 1947 she was joined in marriage with Donald W. Klemme at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in St. Johnsville. She was a graduate of St. Johnsville High School. Before she was married she was employed at Central National Bank.She was a partner in dairy farming with her husband and was also the Town of Minden Court Clerk. Anna was former President of Montgomery County Farm Bureau Women's Committee, President of St. Paul's Lutheran Church Council and Secretary/Treasurer of the St. Johnsville Cemetery. She was a member of Fonda Fair Women's Committee for Farm Bureau, Montgomery County Home Bureau, Eastern Star of St. Johnsville, St. Johnsville Business Girls, Forest Preserve Users, 4-H Club Leader for 23 years, and was associated with her husband at Crystal Lake Snowmobile Clubhouse. Anna loved oil painting and relaxing at Stoner Lake in the Adirondacks. Survivors include her beloved family: her husband Donald W. Klemme; her two sons; Donald W. Klemme II of Fort Plain and Jon A. Klemme and his wife MaryLou of Spearman, Texas; and her daughter Susan C. Biltucci and her husband Tony of Fort Plain;four cherished grandchildren: Anthony Biltucci, Amanda Biltucci, Jonathan Klemme and Megan Klemme; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also predeceased by her brother John Hajczewski and nephews John Hajczewski III and Donald Hajczewski. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Enea Family Funeral Home (St. Johnsville) on Thursday September 4,2008 from 2-5pm & 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held at 10am Friday September 5,2008 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, St. Johnsville with the Rev. David A. Johnson, officiating. Procession will follow to West St. Johnsville Cemetery where she will be laid to rest. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, St. Johnsville or to St. Johnsville Volunteer Ambulance Corp. (SAVAC). Envelopes may be obtained at the funeral home.
