Obituary of Eileen Krowicki

ILION-Eileen A. (Moynihan) Farley Krowicki, 68, of Elizabethtown Road, passed away on Saturday morning, July 12, 2008 surrounded by her beloved family peacefully in her daughter Dawn's home on Green Street in Mohawk. Eileen was born on January 13, 1940 and was married to the late George Farley who passed on September 17, 1993. Eileen was employed at Remington Arms until her retirement. She was a life member and past president of the Ilion-Frankfort VFW Post #502 & a member of the Ilion American Legion Post #920 and had resided in Ilion for 40 years. She was the daughter of the late Florence (Lozo) & Donal Moynihan and was predeceased by three sons: George II, Roger, & Joseph. Survivors include her daughter & son-in-law Dawn and Stephen Scott Sr. of Mohawk; her son, Brian Farley of Herkimer; four sisters & four brothers, Rose Brown of Mass., Joanne Matthews of Auburn, Joyce & Nelson Johnson of Mohawk, Diane Bailey of Ilion, Donal (Sam) & Isabella Moynihan of Mohawk, David (Butch) & Kathy Moynihan of Mohawk, Michael & Della Moynihan of Broadalbin, William (Bill) Moynihan of Mohawk; her grandchildren Kelly Johnson, Stephen Scott Jr., Renee Palmieri, Cassandra Farley and Jaycie Farley; her great grandchildren Brandon & Miriah Johnson, Tracy & Justine Palmieri, Baby Scott and Baby Farley. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to Hospice Care, Inc. in Eileen's memory. The family would like to acknowledge the care and support of the Hospice staff during our time of need. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 4309 Acme Rd., between Ilion and Frankfort, 894-8000 on Tuesday, July 15, 2008 from 5-7 p.m. Her funeral will commence at 7 p.m. following visitation, in the chapel of the funeral home with Deacon Jim Bower of Annunciation Church, Ilion officiating. Interment will take place a the convenience of the family in Oak View Cemetery, Frankfort.
