HERKIMER-Ancha Marusic, 99, formerly a resident of the Country Manor, and most recently of Valley Health Services, Herkimer passed away on Friday evening, August 29, 2008 at that facility. She was born on November 26, 1908 in Mahonoy City, PA daughter of the late John and Anna (Petrucka) Marusic and educated in Little Falls schools. She was last employed as a waitress in Washington, DC. She leaves her sister in law: Mildred Marusic of Herkimer; two nieces: Linda Smith of Mohawk and Nancy Johnson and husband William of Ilion; a great nephew: Robert Smith of Michigan and his son: Ashton Smith; and a great niece: Jennifer Ries and husband Mark of Arlington, VA. She was predeceased by her sister: Sue Marusic and by two brothers: John and Milon Marusic. There are no public calling hours or funeral service. Interment will take place in Oak Hill Cemetery, Herkimer privately. The Enea Family Funeral Home is caring for the family.
