Mrs. Eleanor (Reardon) Millington, 84, passed away after a long illness on Friday January 4, 2008 at Little Falls Hospital. Eleanor was born in Herkimer on February 1, 1923 the daughter of the late Daniel and Agnes (Herkel) Reardon. She was educated at local schools while living in Herkimer. She was employed at Remington Rand in Ilion for 25 years. Eleanor was joined in marriage to Frederick Millington in April of 1946. Mr. Millington passed away in 1991. She is survived by her son, James Millington of Herkimer and a granddaughter, Amanda Millington, two brothers, Daniel Reardon of Little Falls, and John Reardon and sister-in-law, Pamela Reardon of Utica, two sisters, Janet Carucci and husband Joseph of Whitesboro, and Doris Kearns of Waltham, Mass., and many nieces & nephews. The family extends a heartfelt gratitude to the entire staff of the Little Falls Hospital, and a special thanks to Dr. Usha Wadhera who attended to her every wish. Funeral services will be held on Monday January 7, 2008 at 6:00 pm from the Enea Family Funeral Home, 220 N. Washington St., Herkimer, NY with Reverend Anthony Ligato, pastor of Sts. Anthony & Joseph?s Church, officiating. Spring burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home on Monday evening from 5:00 pm until the time of the services.
