Michael B. ?Mike? Murray, 73, of Howard St., Ext., Dolgeville passed away on Monday January 28, 2008 at Bassett Healthcare, Cooperstown, NY. He was born September 21, 1934 in Little Falls the son of the late Bernard and Mary (McCluskey) Murray and was educated in Little Falls schools. His marriage to Ruth DeNinno took place on August 8, 1968 in Dolgeville. The couple shared a blessed union of 37 years until the passing of Mrs. Murray on January 8, 2005. Mr. Murray was a Korean Conflict veteran, enlisting on March 8, 1957 and was honorably discharged on April 14, 1958 with the rank of Private First Class. Mike was last employed at the former Daniel Green?s Shoe Company in Dolgeville. Survivors include his sons, Scott DeNinno and wife Nan of St. Johnsville, and Randy DeNinno and wife Sue of Herkimer, a brother, Walter Murray of Herkimer, his grandchildren, Scott DeNinno, Jr., and wife Rebecca of Oppenheim, Jodi Familo and husband Steve of Kansas City, Missouri, and Rudy and Tyler DeNinno both of Herkimer, great grandchildren, Alex Nethway, Jeremiah DeNinno and Jordan DeNinno, a special aunt, Helen Frye of Little Falls, and many nieces & nephews. He was pre-deceased by a sister, Patricia Mento. Memorial service will be held on Friday February 1, 2008 at 6:30 pm from the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe St., Little Falls, NY. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home on Friday from 6:00 pm until the time of the services. Spring burial will be in St. Joseph?s Cemetery, Dolgeville, NY. In lieu of flowers, please make all memorial contributions to CAP (Community Animal Program). Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
