Mrs. Arvella "Peggy" Paestello, 95, of Dania Beach, a Herkimer native, passed away on January 13, 2008. She is survived by her son and daughter in law: Anthony and Lucy George of Florida; grandchildren: MaryLu and Michael Doyle, Laura and Don Kelly and Anthony George and Michael Kostas; great-grandchildren: Nicole and Freddy Kesler, Connor and Austin Kelly; and several nieces and nephews. She was married to Angelo George, who died in 1948. She married Patsy A. Paestello in 1953. The family lived in the Alvaro Block on South Main Street in Herkimer before moving to Garden Street in Mohawk. They moved to Dania Beach, FL in 1967. Peggy was a supervisor for Derby Sportswear, the old garment factory on German Street, for many years. Funeral service took place in Florida. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to her committal service at Calvary Cemetery in Herkimer on June 4, 2008 at 1:30 PM, conducted by the Reverend Anthony Ligato, pastor of Sts. Anthony and Joseph Church, Herkimer. The Enea Family Funeral Home (Herkimer) is handling local funeral arrangements.
