William L. ?Bill? Paluzzi, 86, a long time St. Johnsville resident, passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2008 at Little Falls Hospital. He was born September 28, 1921 in Little Falls, the son of the late Alberto & Amelia (Augustini) Paluzzi. Bill was educated in Little Falls Schools. He was married to Mary DeNofrio on April 26, 1947 at St. Patrick?s Church in St. Johnsville, NY. Mr. Paluzzi was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran, enlisting on January 7, 1942 and was honorably discharged on March 24, 1947 with the rank of Private. Mr. Paluzzi was last employed at Beech-Nut in Canajoharie. He was a member of St. Patrick?s Church in St. Johnsville, and a member of the Auriesville Shrine, Rock City Senior Citizens of Little Falls and the Little Falls DeCarlo Staffo Post. Survivors include his wife Mary, a son Terry Paluzzi and wife Karen of Churchville, NY, three grandchildren, Andy, Matthew & William Paluzzi, a sister, Mary Bacher of Little Falls, and many nieces & nephews including Michael Bacher of Little Falls. In keeping with Bill?s wishes there are no calling hours and a grave side service will full military honors will be held in the spring at St. Johnsville Cemetery.
