MIDDLEVILLE-Antoinette Paternoster, 84, a longtime beloved resident of the Country Manor Adult Home, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday morning, October 18, 2008 in Mohawk Valley Nursing Home, Ilion. She was born on October 13, 1924 in Utica and received her education in the New York State School for the Deaf, Rome, NY. For 32 years, Antoinette resided with the late Mary Jacopelle in Ilion before coming to the Country Manor. Antoinette was a devout Catholic and attended St. John's Catholic Church, Newport. Even though Antoinette was faced with obstacles and challenges in life, she never let them get the best of her. She was a sweet and caring woman that treasured the numerous friendships she had throughout her life and most recently those at the Country Manor Assisted Living Facility where she always felt comfortable and at home. Antoinette was preceded in death by her sister, Angelina Caramonica and leaves many beloved friends at the Country Manor. Friends are invited to a celebration of Antoinette's life commencing at 2:30 pm on Friday, October 24, 2008 from the Enea Family Funeral Home of Herkimer (866-1011) with Deacon Jim Bower, officiating. Procession will follow to Calvary Cemetery, Herkimer where she will be laid to rest.
