Obituary of Frank A Perry

Frank A. Perry, 85, of 149 O?Hara Road, Little Falls passed away on Wednesday February 20, 2008 at his home with his loving family by his side. He was born May 20, 1922 in Little Falls the son of the late Carmelo and Grace (Socco) Perri, and was educated in Little Falls schools. His marriage to Marie H. Richie took place on May 2, 1941 in Little Falls. Mr. Perry was a World War II Army veteran, enlisting on November 17, 1945 and was honorably discharged on May 26, 1947 with the rank of Technician Fifth Grade. Frank was last employed at the West End Liquor Store in Little Falls. For many years he was co-owner of the former Capece and Perry Service Station in Little Falls. At one time he was employed at Overlook Farms in Little Falls for over 18 years. Mr. Perry was a member of the former St. Mary?s Church in Middleville, NY and was a member of the DeCarlo Staffo Post and was past commander. In his leisure Frank was an avid hunter and fisherman. Survivors include his loving wife of 66 years, Marie, two sons, Robert V. Perry and wife Patricia of Fort Plain, and Richard F. Perry and wife Patricia M. of Little Falls, a daughter, Donna M. Perry of Little Falls, two brothers, Paul Perry and wife Patricia of Remsen and Anthony Perry and wife Arlene of Utah, a sister, Rose Eaton of Remsen, three grandchildren, Chad Perry and wife Amy, Annmarie Gardner and husband Jeff and Jennifer Lisandrelli and husband Anthony, seven great grandchildren, Cameron Perry, Mackenzie Gardner, Michael Gardner, Salym Perry, Liam Perry, Odessa Perry and Ophelia Perry and many nieces & nephews. He was pre-deceased by a brother Angelo Perry. Funeral services will be held on Saturday February 23, 2008 at 1:30 pm from the Holy Family Parish where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Reverend Anthony Ligato, pastor. In keeping with Frank?s wishes there are no calling hours. Burial in St. Mary?s Cemetery, Town of Herkimer, will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe St., Little Falls, NY. All memorial contributions may be made to the Holy Family Parish, Hospice and Palliative Care, Inc., Bassett Oncology of Herkimer, or a charity of one?s choice.
