Obituary of Elizabeth Povec

Elizabeth ?Betty? Povec, 94, a longtime Little Falls resident, passed away on Thursday April 17, 2008 at Albany Medical Center. Betty was born July 9, 1913 in Little Falls the daughter of the late Martin and Anna (Pribish) Rohacek and was educated in Little Falls schools. She was married to John Povec who preceded his in death on May 20, 1970. For many years, Betty worked for the former Felt Shoe Company of Little Falls and St. Johnsville and was a member of St. Paul?s Universalist Unitarian Church. Survivors include; daughter, Carol Kelley and husband Maurice of Hanover, NH; a son, Donald Povec of Bradenton, Florida; a sister, Mildred Koziol and husband Stanley of Little Falls; four grandchildren, Dr. Elizabeth Kelley Dumanois and husband Robert, Attorney Kelley Sorisio and husband Paul, Donald Povec, Jr., and Andrew Povec; a great grandson, Maurice Dumanois sisters-in-law, Connie and Florence Rohacek both of Little Falls and many nieces & nephews. She was pre-deceased by her siblings; Anna Perkov, Rudolph, Milan and John Rohacek. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday April 23, 2008 at 11:00 am from the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe St., Little Falls, NY, with the Reverend Kimberly Miner, officiating. Burial will follow at Church Street Cemetery, Little Falls, NY. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home Wednesday Morning from 9:00 am until the time of the services. All memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul?s Universalist Unitarian Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home
