Obituary of Nancy Pruskowski

LITTLE FALLS-Mrs. Nancy (Martello) Pruskowski, age 90, formerly of Little Falls and Country Manor, passed away on Wednesday evening, September 10, 2008 in Folts Homes, Herkimer. At the time of her passing she had the comfort of her family at her side. She was born on July 31, 1918 in Brooklyn, daughter of the late John and Josephine (Piccone) Martello and educated in Brooklyn schools. She lived the greater part of her life in Little Falls. Nancy was united in marriage with Joseph R. "Rex" Pruskowski in Brooklyn. He passed away on Nov. 13, 1996. She was last employed with the Little Frocks Dress Shop, Little Falls and was a communicant of Holy Family Parish, Little Falls. Nancy was loved by and will be missed by her family. Survivors include two daughters: June Tutty and husband Jim of Palm Harbor, Florida and Lorraine Scofield of Connecticut; a brother: Sam Martello and wife Ann of Connecticut; a sister: Dolores Stroili of Connecticut; five grandchildren: Cynthia Tutty, Jacquelyn Grimshaw and husband Adam, Kelly Scofield, Shauna Scofield, Michael Scofield; three great grandchildren: Jim Tutty and wife Patti, Nicole Brewer and husband Mike and Matthew Lupinski; two great great grandchildren: James and Gracie Jo; many nieces, nephews, cousins. She was predeceased by a brother, Bob, Martello and by a sister, Angelina DeMauro. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 220 N. Washington St., Herkimer on Friday, Sept. 12, 2008 from 5-7 p.m. Mrs. Pruskowski's funeral will commence at 10:30 am on Saturday, Sept. 13th from the chapel of the Enea Family Funeral Home, Herkimer where prayer will be offered and at 11:30 am from Holy Family Parish, corner of E. Main and John Sts., Little Falls where the Rev. Anthony Ligato, pastor will celebrate her Mass of Christian Burial. Funeral procession will follow to St. Mary's Cemetery, town of Herkimer where she will be laid to rest.
