Obituary of Stacey Sanders

FORT PLAIN- Mrs. Stacey Anne Sanders, 41, of River Road entered into eternal rest at her home on November 8, 2008. She was born on April 24, 1967 in Charleston, West Virginia to Charles and Nancy Logan. On November 16,1996 she was joined in marriage with Russell Sanders at Beardslee Castle. On November 8, 2008 under the eyes of God Stacey and Russell renewed their Wedding vows. She was a registered nurse for Lexington Center in Oppenheim. Stacey was a loving mother, wife, daughter, sister and friend. She was very caring and loving with a large heart who was always putting others before herself. She took great interest in her work. She was very involved and started “TIGHT KNIT CANCER SUPPORT GROUP” to comfort and help others deal with cancer. She loved to go shopping and spending time with her children. She loved St. Pauls Lutheran Church, and the outdoors. She had tremendous courage, strength and stamina. Her first and foremost priority in life was her family. She was deeply committed to her loved ones, she was a wonderful role model. Survivors include her husband Russell; her daughter Katelynn Dopp; her son Keenan Sanders; her mother Nancy Erwin of Blades Delaware; her Grandmother AnnaMae Montayne of Canajoharie; her brothers Eric Logan and his wife Julie of Canajoharie and Patrick Boland and his wife Jennifer of Harrington, Delaware.; her mother in law Barbara Sanders and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She is predeceased by her father Charles Logan. The family will receive relatives from 5-8pm on Wednesday November 12, 2008 and will receive friends and relatives from 5-8pm on Thursday November 13, 2008. at the Enea Family Funeral Home 9 Center St. St. Johnsville, NY. There will be religious services Friday November 14, 2008 at 9:45am for family only and also on Friday November 14, 2008 at 11:00 am for the entire community at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Reception will be in the church fellowship hall following the 11am service.
