CLINTON-Mrs. Patricia A. (Zawtocki) Schottel, 57, of Brett Brae, Clinton (town of New Hartford) entered into eternal rest on Thursday morning, September 11, 2008 peacefully in her home in the comfort of her family. She was born in Little Falls on January 29, 1951, daughter of the late Stanley and Jennie (Czapli) Zawtocki and educated in Little Falls schools. On August 24, 1992, Patricia was united in marriage with Richard Schottel in Schuyler, the couple has resided in Clinton for the past 16 years. Patricia was a dedicated and loving woman who took wonderful care of the needs of her entire family. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends. Survivors include her beloved family; her husband Richard of Clinton; a daughter: Dina Maggio and husband Tony of Utica; a son: Joseph Palladino and wife Kim of Durham, NC; two sisters: Donna Zawtocki of NY Mills and Tina McLeod and husband Kevin of Durham, NC; six cherished grandchildren: Martina Rose Palladino, Alexa Maggio, Jalen Palladino, Tony Maggio, Jr., Joseph Maggio and Giana Maggio; many cherished nieces including Pedro, Maria, Brianna and Gabriella; one very special nephew; very special family members: Rachael An Dealing and Bambi; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Patricia was predeceased by a brother Joseph Zawtocki. Relatives and friends are invited to visitation at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 4309 Acme Rd., between Ilion and Frankfort, 894-8000, on Sunday, September 14, 2008 from 3-5 p.m. The funeral will commence at 11 am on Monday, Sept. 15th from the chapel of the Enea Family Funeral Home, with the Rev. Anthony Ligato, pastor of Sts. Anthony and Joseph, Herkimer and Holy Family Parish, Little Falls officiating. Procession will follow to St. Mary's Cemetery, town of Herkimer where she will be laid to rest.
