Obituary of Natalie E Shepardson

Natalie E. Shepardson, 80, a long time Little Falls resident, passed away on Sunday April 27, 2008. She was born April 4, 1928 in Little Falls the daughter of the late John L. and Ann (O?Brien) Shepardson. Natalie was a graduate of St. Mary?s Academy and also graduated from St. Elizabeth?s School of Nursing in Utica. For over 30 years, Miss Shepardson was a Registered Nurse for the Albany Veteran?s Hospital. Natalie was a member of the Holy Family Parish in Little Falls, NY and its Alter Rosary Society and dedicated much of her time assisting in activities at the church. Natalie also was a member of the AARP and volunteered her time with the Red Cross and Meals on Wheels for Rockton Plaza. With family as her foremost priority, Natalie proved her self a loving and caring sister and aunt. Survivors include two sisters, Lois Forness and husband Bruce of Pineville, NC and Patricia Ann Dowett and husband John of Granville, NY, a brother-in-law, Ronald MacLeay of Virginia Beach, VA, nine nieces, 12 nephews, several great nieces & nephews, and cousins, including two special cousins, Kathleen Moynihan and Rosemary & Ed View all of Mohawk, and an uncle Harold O?Brien of Middleville, NY. She was pre-deceased by a sister, Janet MacLeay. Funeral services will be held on Thursday May 1, 2008 at 8:45 am from the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe St., Little Falls, NY and at 9:30 am from Holy Family Parish where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Reverend Anthony Ligato, pastor. Burial will be in St. Mary?s Cemetery, Town of Herkimer, NY. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home on Wednesday April 30, 2008 from 5-8 pm. All memorial contributions may be made to the Holy Family Parish or to St. Jude?s Children Hospital. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
