Mrs. Dorothy Mae Siver 83 a resident of the Country Manor , for the past year and formerly of 11 Slawson Street Dolgeville, died Friday July 4, 2008 in Little Falls Hospital. She was born in the Town of Salisbury on December 5, 1924 the daughter of Alonzo and Lena (Lamphere) Dalrymple and attended school in the Red School House in the Town of Salisbury. Her marriage to Wilbur A. Siver took place in 1950 and they renewed their vows on March 8, 1970 in the Salisbury Center Methodist Church. Mr. Siver predeceased her on December 16, 1985. Dorothy was of the Protestant faith and personally enjoyed dancing and flowers either wild or garden variety. Her greatest enjoyment however was her family and grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter with whom she resided with for many years MaryAnn Parisi of Dolgeville her Step sons Lawrence Siver of Little Falls and Thomas Siver of Richfield Springs, a step daughter Janet Ulbrick of California, her Grandchildren Thomas, Todd, Jason, Shane, Michael, Laura lee, Cindy, Mark, Carl, Cindy, Janet and her husband Donald Dodson, Joseph and his wife Sue Parisi, Michael Parisi and his companion Joyce, and Jackie Parisi, several great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Granddaughter Miley. She was pre deceased by her brother Clarence Dalrymple on July 3, 1992. Funeral services will be held Tuesday July 8, 2008 at 11 AM at the Roberts & Enea Family Funeral Home 3 Faville Avenue Dolgeville. Rev. Martin Smith will officiate. Burial will follow in the Dolgeville Cemetery. Calling hours are on Tuesday morning from 9 AM until the time of the service at 11 o?clock.
