Obituary of Yolonda Thomason

LITTLE FALLS-Yolanda M. (Bisconti) Thomason, 80, of Simi Valley, California, a former Little Falls resident passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2008 in Simi Valley Care Center. She was born on February 14, 1928 in Little Falls, daughter of the late Anthony and Serafina (Evangelista) Bisconti and graduated from Little Falls High School, Class of 1946. She had also lived in Detroit at one time. Yolonda was last employed as a bookkeeper/accountant for many years with Suttles Plumbing Mechanical Corporation, Northridge, California, retiring in 1996. She was of the Catholic faith. She leaves a son: Jeffrey Thomason of Lafayette, Ca; a daughter: Jan Stacey Vargas of Simi Valley, Ca.; a brother: Anthony “Biscuit” Bisconti and wife Elaine of Little Falls; two sisters: Rose Lamanna of Little Falls and Ida Miller and husband Warner of Richfield Spa.; three grandchildren: John Fear, Diego Thomason and Alexa Thomason; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by two brothers: Arthur and Dante Bisconte. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to her memorial service commencing on Saturday, December 27, 2008 at 12 noon from the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe St., Little Falls with Father Anthony Ligato, pastor of Holy Family Parish and Sts. Anthony and Joseph Church, officiating. Burial of her cremains will take place in St. Mary’s Cemetery, town of Herkimer.
