TN and Piseco Lake: Anderson "Andy" Thrower, Jr., 65, of Thorn Hill, TN, passed away on Monday, September 22, 2008, at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY of complications following heart surgery. Predeceased by his parents, Anderson and Laura Thrower, Sr., his first wife, Linda McGregor, and his stepson, Marek Sadlon; he is survived by his wife of 22 years, Janet (McCarthy) Thrower; daughter, Sheila Brown of McMinnville, TN; twin adopted sons, Jonathan and Jesse Sadlon of Thorn Hill, TN; stepchildren, Mark (Paula) Sadlon of Old Lyme, CT, Mynette (Donald) Michaels of Clarksville, TN, Melanie (David) Updyke of Margretville, NY, Michael (Wendy) Sadlon of Rome, NY, and Dr. Justin (Emilie) Sadlon of Morristown, TN. He is also survived by 17 step-grandchildren and one step-great-grandson; his sister, Janice Dodd of McMinnville, TN, a niece, Tammy Young, and nephew, Henry Johnson of McMinnville, TN. Andy served in the U.S. Army 101 and 82 Airborne Units. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. There will be no calling hours. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, September 25, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at St. James Major Catholic Church in Lake Pleasant, NY, with burial at the Higgins Bay Cemetery at Piseco Lake, NY.
