HERKIMER-LITTLE FALLS-Ms. Stella Vallecorsa, 85, of Oldfield Dr., town of Herkimer, most recently of Mohawk Valley Nursing Home, Ilion passed away on Saturday evening, January 19, 2008 in St. Elizabeth?s Medical Center, Utica. She was born in Little Falls on June 22, 1922, daughter of the late John and Agnes (Krason) Maruszak and educated in Little Falls schools. She was last employed as an assembler with MDS in Herkimer and was at one time employed by Salada in Little Falls and Univac in Utica. Stella was a communicant of Sts. Anthony and Joseph Church, Herkimer and belonged to the church rosary society. She was a former member of the town of Herkimer and St. Johnsville senior citizens. Survivors include her son Edward Vallecorsa of Herkimer; two daughters: Cheryl Crimmins-DiCesare of Utica and Joan Blanchard of Little Falls; a sister: Jennie Jellison of Chula Vista, Ca.; sister in law: Frances Maruszak of Spencerport; four grandchildren: Michele Marko and husband Carson, Karen Crimmins, Kristin Eunson and husband, Arthur, and Michael Blanchard; four great grandchildren: Adam Miller, Carson Marko III, Simone Eunson and Nicholas Eunson; in laws: William Heron of Little Falls, Vincenza Maruszak of Florida and Diane Maruszak of Virginia; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by five brothers and thre sister. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 220 N. Washington St., Herkimer on Tuesday, January 22, 2008 from 4-7 p.m. Ms. Vallecorsa?s funeral will commence at 8:15 am on Wed., Jan. 23rd, 2008 from the chapel of the funeral home where prayer will be offered and at 9 am at Sts. Anthony and Joseph Church, South Main St., Herkimer where her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Anthony Ligato, pastor. Procession will follow to St. Mary's Cemetery, town of Herkimer where she will be laid to rest. Kindly consider memorial offerings to the Mohawk Valley Nursing Home.
