HERKIMER-Elizabeth J. "Betty" Walrath, 64, formerly of Creekside Court Apartments, and recently a resident at Valley Health Services, Herkimer passed away on Monday evening Feb. 18, 2008 in Bassett Healthcare, Cooperstown. She was born on March 4, 1943, in Little Falls, daughter of the late Walter and Mary (Maurin) Walrath and graduated from Little Falls High School. At one time she was married to John Kondratowicz. She was last employed with Herkimer Housing Authority and attended the Church of Sts. Anthony and Joseph, Herkimer. In her spare time Betty enjoyed going to garage sales and loved playing bingo. A loving mother and grandmother she will be sadly missed by family. Survivors include her children: John J. Kondratowicz, III of Herkimer and Deborah Bernier and husband Donald of West Seneca; a brother: Bryan Walrath and wife Tania of Rome; two grandchildren: Olivia and Emily Bernier; a niece and nephew: Catherine Satiago and Scott Walrath. Also surviving are many cousins. Relatives and friends may pay their respects at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 220 N. Washington St., Herkimer on Friday, February 22, 2008 from 5-7 p.m. Her funeral will commence at 11:00 am on Saturday, Feb. 23, from the funeral home where a prayer service will be held and at 11:30 from Sts. Anthony and Josephs Church, S. Main St., Herkimer where her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Anthony Ligato, pastor. Procession will follow to St. Mary's Cemetery, town of Herkimer where she will be laid to rest. Kindly consider memorial offerings to Valley Health Services, Herkimer.
