Jacqueline R. Balderston, 56, of Rochester and formerly of Dolgeville passed away on Thursday December 13, 2007 at the Van Allen Nursing Home, Little Falls, NY. She was born July 17, 1951 in Little Falls the daughter of Robert & Patricia (Ward) Yoran. Jackie was a graduate of Dolgeville High School, class of 1969 and attended Richard Detoto Beauty School in Syracuse. Her marriage to Roger Balderston took place on May 30, 1970 at St. Joseph?s Church in Dolgeville. Jackie was last employed as a bookkeeper for the Big M Supermarket in Hilton, NY retiring in 1990, due to her illness. Mrs. Balderston was of the Catholic faith and was a former member of the Dolgeville Eastern Star. Survivors include her loving husband of 37 years, Roger, her parents, Robert & Patricia, two sons, Michael J. Balderston and wife Tina of Rochester, and Steven E. Balderston and wife Stephanie of Rochester, two grandchildren, Brooke and Brodie Balderston, two brothers, Mark & Robert Yoran and a sister, Dale Wilcox, and several nieces, nephews & cousins, and an aunt & uncle, James & Joan Broat of Dolgeville. A memorial service will be held on Thursday December 20, 2007 at 6:00 pm at the Roberts & Enea Family Funeral Home, 3 Faville Ave., Dolgeville, NY with Reverend Leo Potvin, pastor of St. Joseph?s Church, officiating. The family will be receiving friends and relatives on Thursday evening from 5 pm until the time of the services.
