Obituary of Harry Beadle

Mr. Harry J. Beadle Jr. 82 of Creekside Apartments Herkimer a former Dolgeville resident, died Friday April 27, 2007 in St. Luke?s Hospital where he was a patient since March 29, 2007. He was born in Cherry Valley, New York on July 20, 1924 the son of the late Harry J. and Lena (Schultz) Beadle and was educated in schools in Cherry Valley and Van Hornsville. His marriage to the former Rosilda Farber took place on September 2, 1950 in Dolgeville. They would have celebrated 57 years of marriage this September. Harry was employed by Delwood Foods of Herkimer as a truck driver for several years retiring from there in 1980 due to a disability. His love of the outdoors found him many times camping with his family ,along with snowmobiling. He also enjoyed the many years he and his wife spent in Myrtle Beach and in Florida during the winter months. He enjoyed bowling and especially enjoyed country music. One of his greatest past times was attending the many sports activities that his grandchildren were involved in. He is survived by his wife Rosilda of Herkimer, a Son and his wife Allan and Susan Beadle of Mohawk, a Daughter Pamela Radley of Dolgeville, his grandchildren- Renee and her husband David Vogt, Monica and her husband Stephen Morse, Bruce ?BJ? Radley Jr., Brett Radley and Brian Radley, Stephen Beadle and his companion Karrie, Jason and his wife Erin Beadle, his two great grandchildren Hanna and Ella Morse, a brother in law and his wife Raymond and Kay Farber Jr. He was predeceased by his two Brothers Floyd and John and a Sister Elsie Kretser. Funeral services will be held Tuesday May 1st, 2007 at 11 AM at the Roberts & Enea Family Funeral Home 3 Faville Avenue Dolgeville. The Rev. Rebecca Laird, pastor of the Dolgeville United Methodist Church will officiate. Following cremation burial will be in the Salisbury Rural Cemetery. Calling hours are on Monday (Today) from 5-8 PM. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or to the American Diabetes Association. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
