Obituary of Chester S Bonk

LITTLE FALLS-Mr. Chester S. ?Chet? Bonk, 91, of Moreland St., Little Falls passed away on Monday afternoon, December 24th 2007 in St. Elizabeth?s Medical Center, Utica. He was born on June 22, 1916 in Little Falls, son of the late Anthony and Mary (Zysk) Bonk and educated in Little Falls schools. His marriage to the former RoseMary Cunningham took place in 1948. Chet was employed as a mechanic throughout his working career. He was of the Catholic faith and attended Holy Family Parish, Little Falls. Survivors include his wife RoseMary at home; his children: Peggy Paparella and husband Donald of Little Falls, Anthony Bonk of Little Falls, Joann Weiner and husband Michael of Little Falls, Vicky Bagley and husband Randy of St. Albans, Vermont, Mary Ladouceur of Cincinatti, OH, Noreen Robbins and husband Russell of Port Ewen, NY, and Robert Bonk of Little Falls; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and cousins. He was predeceased by two sons: Stanley and Michael Bonk. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe St., Little Falls on Friday, December 28th 2007 from 4-7 p.m. Mr. Bonk?s funeral will commence at 10:15 am on Saturday, December 29th from the chapel of the funeral home where prayer will be offered and at 11 am from Holy Family Parish, corner of E. Main and John Streets, Little Falls where the Rev. Anthony Ligato, pastor will celebrate his Mass of Christian Burial. Funeral procession will follow to St. Mary?s Cemetery, town of Herkimer where he will be laid to rest.
