James Cacciatore, 92, a long time Frankfort resident, passed away on Sunday August 26, 2007 at St. Elizabeth?s Medical Center, Utica, NY. He was born October 6, 1914 in Frankfort, the son of the late Joseph & Congetta (Castillia) Cacciatore, and was educated in Frankfort. His marriage to Rose Caiola took place on September 13, 1941 at St. Mary?s Church in Frankfort. For many years, Jim worked at the Brown?s Feed Mill in Frankfort. Mr. Cacciatore was a member of Our Lady Queen of the Apostles Church in Frankfort. Survivors include, his loving wife of 66 years, Rose, two sons, Joseph Cacciatore and wife Barbara of Ilion, and James Cacciatore of Frankfort and girlfriend Roanna Abborino of Syracuse, three grandsons, Joseph Cacciatore and girlfriend Amy Brisson both of Ilion, Shaun Cacciatore and wife Jennifer of Ilion, and Jason Cacciatore and wife Brandy of Mohawk, 8 grandchildren, in-laws, Jane and Angelo DeSimone of Utica, and Katy Cailoa of Dolgeville, and several nieces & nephews. He was pre-deceased by several brothers & sisters. Funeral services will be held on Thursday August 30, 2007 at 9:30 am from the Enea Family Funeral Home, Acme Road, (between Frankfort & Ilion), and at 10:00 am from Our Lady Queen of the Apostles Church, Frankfort where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Reverend John Yanas, Jr., pastor. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Frankfort, NY. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home on Wednesday August 29, 2007 from 5-8 pm.
