Albany ? Donald H. Clingen, 65, of 11 Stonehenge Lane, Albany, passed away at his home on Friday April 20, 2007, after a long illness. He was born August 15, 1941 in Little Falls the son of the late Harold J. & Mary (Hart) Clingen. Don was a graduate of Little Falls High School, class of 1959 and also graduated from Utica College. Mr. Clingen was a United States Marine Corps Veteran, enlisting in 1959 and was honorably discharged in 1963 with the rank of Corporal. From 1967 to 1982 Don worked as a social worker for Oneida County. From 1982 until his retirement in 2001 he was employed with the Department of Health in Albany. Don was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church in Albany. Survivors include his brother, George H. Clingen of Little Falls and several cousins and many friends in the Albany area. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday April 25, 2007 at 10:15 am from the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe St., Little Falls, NY and at 11:00 am from Holy Family Parish where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Reverend Anthony Ligato, pastor. Burial will follow at St. Mary?s Cemetery, Town of Herkimer. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home on Tuesday April 24, 2007 from 5-8 pm. The family would like to thank Dr. Weaver, Dr. Derisio and Dr. Thomas of Albany Medical Center and the staff and nurses for the care shown to Don during his illness. All memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
